Beauty and wealth is very much acknowledged in the Quran but it's what we do as humans to over come these virtual tests. Someone who knows they're ugly according to worldly standards is sadly, ugly. I have a theory, hear it:

Me personally, if I was European with green eyes and Euro features, I SWEAR I wouldn't even sit next to another human that wasn't Euro, that's how selfish and horrid I would be. However, if I was born Nigerian to typical Nigerian features, I'd commit suicide by now, but do you see how someone like me is not born neither but Somali? A some sort of virtual test of my patience. I know why I don't 'deserve' to become European (because I would overly love it) and why I don't deserve to be Nigerian (because I would I kill myself)

But if that standard existed before any concept of "eurocentrism", then... even the Qur'an describes the people of hell with burnt black faces, and xuurul ceen as fair skinned and wide eyed, even servant boys are described as pearls.

The black faces literally mean burnt to ashes whereas human 'black' faces are simply UV radiation. It's so funny how we humans assume people are born of colour, skin colour is literally the sun radiating the face which is why northern people (euros) are pale becuase the least sun is concentrated there.

The people of heaven will not be 'fair' or 'white' in human terms, actually as Mufti Menk explained it, everyone by default will be translucent (which makes sense there is no sun effect in heaven), so fair you can see through the person. However if you want to be a dunya colour then you can be.

There is no such thing as human skin colour on heaven since the sun isn't there to colour our skin pigments.

The descriptions are abundant. Dark is always attributed with evil, brightness/fairness/white/light, etc with all things good. The faces are the clearest and most obvious of the descriptions. Xuurul ceen are fair skinned, those from jahannam even after being dipped in the rivers of jannah will have black marks on their faces.

Hur al-eyn =/= cadaan or euro look, description could be misinterpreted but more importantly hasn't it been stated that their beauty is nothing like that of this world ??

but I agree, most people find proportional build and features attractive, and this has nothing to do with colonialism, it is something ingrained in our biology to find facial features that are in proportion attractive. Ever heard of the golden ration ?? most of these plastic surgeons follow a ratio, and it has nothing to do with europeanising a person, as you can see in the pictures none of the women have a typical european nose, but they have a nose that is proportional to the width of their mouth etc, this proportionality apparently is an indication of health which attracts males and vice versa.

I don't want to post pictures like our doctor yalaxow but most ordinary people of all ethnic background do not have a proportional face and they are deemed unattractive accordingly, on the other hand people who have proportional face are deemed attractive in general by all ethnic groups.

One thing that I should add is, Human beings have biases hence "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and unfortunately we like to impose our biases on other people, this was most evident during colonial era when one ethnic group dominated and imposed their biases onto other ethnic groups.

skin color and hair texture has been amalgamated into beauty, these things among others do not tell you how healthy a person is, or if they have good genes, they tell you how suited the person is in that environment lol, as world develops the concept of beauty will change with it , Arabs who have very hairy eye brows trim them or cut them or whatever you call it lol because they no longer require that fat layer of hair as they live in modern society, it could go either way to be honest.
