Nairobi Conference: Silanyo regime gets grilled

Post by Waqooyism »

The Ahmed Silanyo administration has received wide condemnations from ordinary Somalilanders and opposition leaders for their participation in the Somalia investment conference held in the Kenyan capital this week.

The so called Somaliland Amb. to Kenya Sifir and the minister of foreign affairs Dr. Omar took part in the conference. Dr. Omar was forced to strip off his flag pin and participated as a regional leader of Somalia's many myriad states.

What forced them to take part in what most people dubbed as a low key conference by small investors is unclear to many including the fake unionist groups who hide behind the blue flag.

It looks like Dr. Omar is making fool of him self and the rest of the Silanyo gang day after day. It even surprises people like me who don't support secession. Secession or not, this is my home and I do like to see the civilians being served with some decency and honesty. It looks like the Diaspora ministers are willing to cash in where its possible (Kenya is well known for its kick backs and corruption and who knows how much Sifir received).

The people deserve better than this liars, who one minute isolate them and next go share marduuf with the same very people a minute ago they were saying are boogeymen.

Let's hear from the Silanyo crazy folks and those who support Dr. Omar, the most useless guy Somaliland has seen since Mayor Hussein Jeeir.

In my opinion, it's another humiliation for the small secessionist administration whose running out off options and doors to knock. Now they are queuing up for Isli's venders. Eastleigh please give us aqoonsi!!

Secession is going no where and our region which could become the leading region in all of Somali Republic needs a plan-B, C, D and E. It seems like people are being lied to and continuously held hostage with the idea of 'recognition is coming' by undertaking few fruitless foreign trips. After 22 years of same trips, same handshakes, same results you would think our people would be smart to figure out the ministers' lies but no they are very much hooked on this endless soap opera (Days Of Our Ixtiiraaf).

The so called ministers say one thing at home and do another while abroad using poor and batted civilian taxpayers money and what was rightfully donated to them by caring foreign donors.

These are the sort of things that I am against not the people of Somaliland, Somaliland as a region---that's my home and the people are my blood. They just need to know the truth and know those that support secession are also useless and incompetent. They don't even know how to go about it. If your going to believe in something at least be good at it and first believe it yourself.

PICTURE: Inar Omar claims Somali Federal Government was not involved in the conference but it was actually financed by the Ministry of Commerce.

i think he personally did not choose to have the somaliland flag on his blazer so not to cause tension in an economic not political conference but even then thats low and cowardly cos he should show himself as a 'lander and a supporter of our national aspirations
ps he wasnt wearing a SOMALIA flag so he comes across more of a foreign ngo man than an official from somalia

the decision of somaliland's national independence belongs to neither the govt of the day in hargeisa nor the govt in xamar nor the global community but ONLY the people of somaliland ALONE as stated in the constitution of 2001

I agree with you but shouldn't Somaliland or Isaaq leaders for that matter also discuss other solutions? Why is everything about secession and ixtiiraaf doon? Why do we spend so much time and money on meaningless trips?

I believe in strong domestic foundations, which back your argument that it is up to the local people to choose. If its all about locals, why ain't we busy addressing their problems?

Theres a lot of issues on domestic levels such as Sool region...why can't they have their own voice for their own region? I mean I see us trying to twist their arms same way Mogadishu is trying to twist ours and the result is deadlock.

Nimanyahow its time to review policies, issues and other key subjects and encourage more voices, more solutions and help build more roads than all of us trying to take one road to ixtiiraaf...too much traffic jam and we are just stuck there with no petrol reaching us, no towing trucks, none---just stuck and broken in the traffic jam in the one way road of Ixtiraaf.

I have funny and weird way of explaining my views but check this photo:

Image

This is like the road of Ixtiiraaf, its one-way argument and view and some brothers are curious to know what's on the other side of this dark tunnel...they think an amazing world awaits for them that will fix all problems. They think few foreigners acknowledging you as a state will change your status. Somalia is recognized and went through that tunnel at full speed and it didn't discover nothing but lawlessness, anarchy and warlords.

The notion that recognition can fix all problems is over rated and misleading.

The way to fix problems is like below:

Image

We need to welcome openly all Landers with all kinds of weird and different ideas even pro-unionists in Mogadishu. Instead of throwing them behind bars we should be harnessing them and using it to infiltrate into Mogadishu...neutralizing them. Encouraging more to follow suit and do their magic down south and return the fruits to Hargeisa

dude for me ill ONLY swap an independent (british) somaliland for an all-fiver greater somalia because in 1960 we didnt choose to unite with (italian) somalia only but as a step into all of greater somalia. in anycase however, greater somalia will never come to fruition for many reasons, one of which somalinimo is dead and replaced with qabyaalad

ps i agree we should focus more on local issues alongside not replace the main priority which is de jure sovereign recognition. the way to do this is to copy taiwan another non recognised state with a booming economy/prosperous society

This is the cooperation we are going to have as you can read it in the english statement of somaliland FM.

This doesn't make somaliland lesser or greater.

THe conference is an investment conference and somalia is not co-organizing it like the london one so where is the problem?

Somaliland politicians are hardheaded in the political affairs but are realistic and sensible in other cooperations.

Let us stop being reer badiye and xasidiin. Somaliland FM has said good things about somalia and how the things have changed in there and was promoting investment for all of us. We need a common front in these things.

Much ado about nothing .
I actually think you're a poser,OP, but it's beside the point as you will undoubtedly keep making yourself more irrelevant and ridiculous .

I personally though do not support having anything to do with Kenya, just wanna make that clear .

Now back to the topic and the comments made by waqoyism{ who doesn't make anymore sense than clarity on who he really is} the people of Somaliland have seceeded from the Somalia for a good reason . Now until that problem is solved or fixed , there is no REASON for them to change their mind .

I mean , it sounds pretty easy to understand , doesn't it ?
My God , so many corrupt minds punching above their weight in this madafaka
