I will never abandon the lineage of my forefathers, no matter what a retarded test tells me.

Waad ku deg degtay Gabadha ee waxba maysan Oran Qalad ah. She was pointing out that my sentiment is not shared by all Somalis, which is a fact. That is what ma sahlana meant. Did you have to use eryaga -bitch?
Gaf wayn waaye taa nin yohow. You apologized but you need to do more of "hoo ku dhimo apology". Do it right or I will kick you in the gutt.

Based,
I don't remember the names you mentioned. I wasn't shocked to be related to other Somalis who come from different clans. After all, we even share the Somali look and we recognize each other when we meet in the streets.
Anyway
Zeliha
I am sorry dear, you didn't say anything wrong. Wuu degdegay Somali transporter. A true Somali trait for males is to never insult a woman. Even if she is on the wrong, it doesn't befit in la caayo ladies.

Qabiil Somaligu waa sheeko xariiro.
Re: See (My)genetic testing(and how we are related)
As much as i commend the effort for proofing that qabiil wars are hitherto senseless because we all stem from common ancestry, our very society is built upon clan and the complex network of politics, marriages, businesses etc all aspects of life are heavily influenced by this system because it was something more meaningful than just a lineage. It is an identity and a way of life for the Somalis and this simply offers no alternative.

Somaliman?
I agree with you in some points! but they took it to extrem level! there is nothing wrong with Qabiil, as long you use it, for good Things! like finding relatives!
But this thing became illness amongst us! do you visit sometimes somali jaahliyaado in your Communities! those men, are sick wallahi!
But i hope, that they will learn more about this fact! knowledge can be the way out of this Deep hatred, in all somalis to each other..

So, some alphanumeric genetic codes are supposed to convince Somalis to stop the hatred, killing, etc? I don't think so. If anything, only Islam can do that.Somali-Transporter wrote:But i hope, that they will learn more about this fact! knowledge can be the way out of this Deep hatred, in all somalis to each other..

Waa iga qoslisay with your nooh. Alto waa xamari maa is tiri? Zeliha way isku dhacaysaa. Suuqa kuma jirto laakiin. Waa la qaatay mar hore. Tartiib hoosta uga dhiib anigoo is leh ay iga horkeentay waa la i qabaa hahahaha.
I commend your stance on clanism. Nasiib darraa nagu dhacday. I gave up on Somalis long ago. This thread is my hopeless call to those who care to think to re-examine their conduct towards other Somalis. No amount of schooling, no amount of faith, no amount of real tragic experience convinced Somalis that clanism laid them and their country to waste. Some argue as you see in here that clan is important. I never needed my clan and never thought of it as something other than lineage. Isma fahamno soomaalida when it comes to clan.
I still love Somalis though, and wouldn't trade my Somali identity with any other identity.
