Saaxil aka Berbera
Bendar Qasim aka Bossaso
Xamar aka Muqdisho
Are different names to cater for different people or what

i dont agree with the first two since saylac is not even part of awdal region now but of salal region while berbera is the main city and capital of the saaxil region

Isnt adari the xabash pronunciation of harar and not entirely a different name like bendar qasim and xamar.. never been to harar but I do love tht city for some unexplained reason

I know Bender Qaasim was changed to Boosaaso by Siad Barre's to Somalianize it.
