Re: My trip to Somaliland
You've just proved my point. Somaliland is built by Somali businessmen. Mogadishu is a UN Project with every nation donating and providing expertise. Dont even compare the two. You keep saying twenty years, but wasn't xamar recieving aid and assistance for the same number of years? Yet the government doesnt even control the city after two decades. So what if SL youth are going south, at least we have educated and trained youth. You should be thankful for the workforce.

Oh great. It took a while, but this thread finally descended into the classic snet picture war.
Re: My trip to Somaliland
And what about the private sector in Xamar. Xamar’s private sector is the economic hub of Somalia. More money is exchanges hand and deals are done in a day in Xamar than in a fortnight in Hargesia. Please, you are completely underestimating Xamar’s economic might. A lot of the major projects extend beyond the skills of Somalis in Somalia unfortunately. This is the brutal truth. Look around the world, numerous developing nations had their key infrastructure built by foreigners. There is nothing wrong with wanting to learn while being helped out.abdi.ismail wrote:You've just proved my point. Somaliland is built by Somali businessmen. The times have changed. Somalia is rebuilding its armed forces and controls numerous parts of Xamar on its own accord. It will extend and increase its military force in coming years.
Somaliland is standing idle. It’s a fast changing world, those who sit on their hands are left behind.

Mogadishu was built by the Italians and Siad Barre. Now its being built by Turks.
Hutu only destroy things and these Turkish projects will not last. No point posting Turkish things show us your own things.

Re: My trip to Somaliland
Do you other Somalis honestly believe Somalis in Xamar are sitting down and watching foreigners construct. You are totally out of your league here,Hawdian wrote:Mogadishu was built by the Italians and Siad Barre. Now its being built by Turks.

Outside the major projects, the rest is being built by Somalis. Once we are ready, we built the major necessary infrastructure

Re: My trip to Somaliland
All the Hutu are bragging but the reality remains; their women go to Bantu troops for good times and security, the Bantu and Hutu kids are being fed by Turks and all the projects are built by Turks because their Prime Minister doesn't want to cry again.
Yeah one country feels sorry for Hutu but we know soon they going to give up on them that's why switching the Somali national capital to the north is very vital and this will happen soon or later.
Mogadishu was founded by foreigners (Arabs/Persians), built by Italians, kept together by Darods (Siad Barre) and Hutu looted their own homes very funny...now Turks are rebuilding it only for Hutu to loot it again later.

Hutu this is how you drink water...

Women need protection and good times
...Caruurtayda keen naaya

...Eebow only Bantu troops put a smile on my face - Hutu woman

...Aabo ma jogo somaha? Ma so gaali karana?

...Anigaha naagahan dhan qaba caruurtana aniga ilashanaya

Hutu shouldn't be the ones talking and making comments about others...boasting about few Turkish aid projects and UN.
