Menace, now you're just being silly. The Brits began the camps to house refugees from the farms they burned. They turned many away because they didn't want or couldn't feed them, and they were immediately challenged by the British public to improve the conditions under which these people were forced to live. There wasn't any UN or aid agency at the time.

If you can't read the articles at least look at the pictures. If that doesn't tell you anything, then I feel sorrier for you than I have heretofore. We know what the British Empire looked like.
