I attempted to answer your questions in my head , but I would eventually get confused. Lets try this again
Is it a measure of value like Centimeters, inches Kilograms or grams or is it a store of value, is money money on its own?
does money =wealth?
So the answer is money is not wealth? So money = worthless = nothing= $0.00? And it’s basically a measurement( ie. centimeter example you used)? So when someone gives you money, say cash, they are giving you nothing ? just a measurement?

So at this point people should do what exactly? If not purchase gold then what? Get others things of value?

^^^Money (Paper Money) is inherently worthless because it has no intrinsic value. When someone gives you money they aren't giving you something tangible but a promise of payment to be fulfilled and backed up by the state (Central Bank). In the old days when people used to have gold, silver, copper coins, they were actually trading something of value and they would value coins based on their type e.g. Gold is more valuable per measurement than silver, and also on their weight e.g. 1 oz of gold is more valuable than 0.5 oz of gold.

And before that humans used to barter. Ancient Egypt used to pay their workers inproduce such as sacks of wheat, Barley, Beer etc. The Anatolians invented coinage to make exchange easier to measure but also you can imagine it's easier to carry a purse of gold coins instead of 12 sacks of barley.

I told them several times that money is more complicated than they think but they are too dogmatic on the issue.
Imran hosien is like them having a superficial understanding of money, they should know that money is the main weapon of the dajjal and you should study it and know it intimately .
You should know your enemy as well as you know yourself.
Is this guy really claiming to have a better understanding of money and its function in the world today than the great sheikh?

Gurey i think you lost it mate.

Kukri i deeply respect and admire our sheikh but he is not infallible and he always tells his listeners to correct him if he makes a mistake, and they regularly do.
If you follow his videos he has corrected himself several times and explained why he corrected himself and encourages people to continue to do so in the future.

This speaks greatly for his integrity and humility.
The shiekh has met the murabitun several times and on the issue of money they are aligned , except that he is against its use on a macro economic level be cause he believes it will be of no use.
He wants it implemented on the micro level, in self sufficient islamic villages isolated from the world economy as much as possible, he advocated use fo gold and silver and a barter system at this level.
His position is far better than the dogmatic murabitun and is logical.

Did i offend you by saying the sjiekh has a superficial understanding of money?
i am basing it on what he wrote in his booklet Islam and the future of money, his understanding of the issue and his position is far better than most people but h still makes mistakes.
