Neither Somalia and Somaliland are real countries

Post by AbdiJohnson »

.... when your annual national budgets are 1/10th the size of the revenue made by television productions or small corporations

These back and forth arguments on this site is just embarassing. If you fail to provide the bare minimum and cant commit to basic public service delivery and cant do anything other than exporting diseased camels you are not a country. Its high time you accept it.

You're not a minister if all you have are 10 clan employees who have no responsibilities other than driving in a Land Cruiser and boast to locals. You are not a bureaucrat if you dont know how to write minutes for a meeting. You are not a mayor if you have no garbage collection. You are not a President if you dont remember your own government policies you committed to yesterday. You are not a citizen if you don't speak up to the corruption or demand to speak to your local MP when you have an issue

You are simply not a country. Theres absolutely no reason to boast about your lands on this site.

Somalia as a country exist in papers and it is a recognised country. However the state (government) of Somalia is barely non-existing and weak that I agree with. But the only way to fix this is through intellectual debates, campaigns, sweat, blood and huge efforts. Developing countries did not reach their high level out of thin air.

Regards to Somaliland, I don't know why you even mentioning it. You might aswell mention my neighbourhood then. :|
