I think we are not asking the important question which is why are these girls and boys joining isis? What can we do to prevent them from doing this? Who or what is motivating and or convincing them? It is highly unlikely that these kids just wake up one day with the desire to join isis. Someone is persuading them whether on purpose or not. It could be the shaikh in the mosque who delivers friday sermons on the plight of the arabs or it could be someone who approaches them to join syria. I think Somali parents need to take more interest in their children. They should know where and with whom they are at all times.

madarasah.influence is a thing of the past.nowadays kids live on laptops and social media.as for arabs the Syria conflict was popularised by arab sheikhs who were paid by Saudis and qataris because they oppose Syrian government.the same sheikhs didn't say a word when central African Muslims were being cannibalised.
