hahahahaha  So random. PO You've been just swell.

I had three separate procedures. First top left, went to sleep because I was chicken shit. Then top right with local anesthetic - didn't feel it at all even the next week there was no pain. So I decided to do bottom wisdom teeth same way, with local anesthetic...I was in absolute agony.

Yours need to be dug out? Yes, go under. And ask for enough pain killer. I feel bad for you :rose:

I'm just a guy bro, I don't know much about these things but I'm assuming that they'd cause pain only if they were pushing up on a nerve or if there was an infection. If you're feeling fine then there's no cause for concern...in any case, I'd strongly recommend visiting a dentist, even if you feel that you don't need it.

It was why i had to pull mine out.The last two were halfway buried and the other half would dig deep into the cheeks.Good luck if food particles got in there. The horrors.

The thing is, when I try to feel my tongue on the gum where those two bottom molars were supposed to be I don't feel anything underneath the gum at all. It's just a gum leveled all the way to the end where the upper part and to the bottom part meet.

From drinking a lot of green tea lately and that soft drink (coke) every now and then I was thinking to make my first ever visit to a dentist for cleaning and I might ask the dentist to check if there's anything underneath the gum there and whether I have to remove them or not.

Had 2 taken out this time last year. All those days of eating lollipops (chupa chups) just to look cool had caught up with me. It wasn't too bad, all things considered. A few days of mashed potatoes & gravy, V8 cocktails and oxycontin and I was alright. You'll be fine PO, don't fret.

That's the shit right there. There are few better feelings, after a good cleaning. You almost don't want to eat.

First, why do people remove wisdom teeth a lot (I read about people having them removed these days)? Is it because there's something wrong with them or what? I am asking this cuz (though I have no teeth problems at all), I hate pushing my toothbrush at the back of my mouth to brush those wisdom teeth and fancy the idea of getting rid of them just for that.

Secondly, funny thing is, I only have the top two wisdom teeth and never had the bottom two coming out. I always wondered why but still there is nothing there. Is that normal?
I wonder that too. But I've heard theories like the people's head and brain getting smaller to reduce brain energy consumption and increase efficiency. Not sure though

Alx, the operation was a success, doc said I was a model patient  I was out in a couple hours driving home. I took two ibuprofens when the numbing was wearing off and then one more before I slept. The only issue was the bleeding but the next day I was fine and could go about my day. I didn't even bother getting the oxycodon prescription. And I got all four removed.

Osman, when they start to come out they are painful, could be decayed, and they develop cavaties easily because they are so hard to reach. They also move your teeth forward.

As for only two coming out, it could be that you only have two. Or that the bottom tooth are still buried under the gum, which still have to be removed. Cuz they will come out eventually.

Real men don't worry about dental work. They cut off their own limps and still walk like a boss.

I kid I kid.

Glad you're feeling better. Georgie Constanza.
