I do not consider myself feminist at all and just because one speaks up for oppressed and victminated somali women does not mean one follows western feminist dogma - We want better from our somali men especially when marriage breaks down - how they seem to abandon their children and disgrace their ex wives is appalling and should be addressed fully. Now we know it is not majority but very large minority of somali men are guilty of it.

The video is very personal and emotive - however - it highlights one of the illness somalis face today and should not be labeled as feminist outburst because it downplayers as women just moaning and just disgracing men over nothing- but it is not- it is painful reality. good on her for speaking up.
