imo classic dhaanto was one of the best somali traditional dance ...im not talking about the new adulterated dhaanto advertised by ina iley mamul.
In the early days,Dhaanto was danced during the nighttime and it was made popular by the unmarried teens who used dhaanto as an entertainment medium to communicate
unlike many traditional dances, dhaanto dance is easy to dance, doesnt involve any immoral behaviour ( men and women dont interact)...here is a good example of how dhaanto dance looks like..starting from 3:00

How ironic you like Jaandheer but not Dhaanto. Come clean hommie. Dhaanto is the best traditional folklore dance we have and as a matter of fact the popular reggae music came from the famous Dhaanto style known as Rigeeya.

As Baalbaal instructed us, just keep your female relatives from this blessed and enticing dance.
