Adult Schools for Gaalkacyo

I have learnt through this week's war that, there were only 2 secondary schools in the entire Galgaduud and Mudug provinces before 1990. I have also learn that, 80% of people over the age of 30 do not read and write. Technically, I see Masaai, Turkana and Pocket in Gaalkacyo. In order to bridge the academic gap in this 2 regions, how about opening adult schools to atleast teach this people how to read and write so they can be enlighten xoogaa yar. I just learn that, they follow the law of the jungle. Its called survival of the fittest. It means Ninkii adkaado ayaa meesha uharaayo. It will take another about 40 years for the academic gap to get smaller when all this illiterate odayaal dies. Also learnt that, Galkacyo is a town that is surrounded by baadiyo and any geeljire who get bored comes to it and start living in it as he lived in the geela.

It took me a while but now I understand and they have my Sympathy.In Kenya, we started adult schools for Turkana's and Masaais and after a while, they started becoming more modernized. I remember one time a masaai was brought to court and the judge started asking him ridiculous questions. He get furious, jumped of the dock and started wrestling him down. That is what I see in Gaalkacyo.

There is one adult school I know that exist in Cadaado town. It is called Hayaan.
