South somalis where always a community minded people and not tribal minded like wuqooyi. Now things have changed.

Tribalism thrives only as parasites on others, it needs to be managed by strict moral codes of marehan which prevents injustice, the order and kala dambeyn of Majeertan which prevent infighting, with good dhaqan tribalism can be reasonably assimilated into modern society. We see in wuqooyi they put emphasis on capitalism and although there is rampant tribalism they managed to keep peace because capitalism is individualistic in nature and free market disagrees with inhibitors such as qabiil territories.

In places like bay, bakool, benadir, shabeele and hiiran you might see the ugly side of tribalism more often. Tribal cleaning is probably the natural conclusion to a immature qabiil populist.

I can assure you that in reality what is keeping somalis in this situation is neo-qabilist groups that lack maturity, order or morality.

Tribalism is an idea. So is siad barre style national socialism. So is this neo-Islamism.

Idea replacement is happening fast in South because it is so multicultural. While north remains fairly fixed on one mentality.

Looking at South tribalism is dangerous, imagine if 2-3 million Jareerta adopt it and we get similar crises as Sudan with south breaking away.

Yes but there is some games with no winners.

Let me give you example. One town has a number of jobs available, for these jobs they pick creme of the crop. There is a university. It charges 50k dollars. If you have degree u have advantage in job market. But if everyone has degree no one has advantage. It as if no one has degree. No one wins. Everyone loses 50k.
