Like many of you, I used to follow him on FB. I had the hope he would one day walk away from those tubes and bed.

But such is life.

Samiir iyo iman.

Jannatul Fardowsa Insha Allah.

here is his story :(
please help me, i need a new lung and the surgery I need it the money I ask all my friends on Fb to lend me a hand in raising this amount. I am forever grateful for your support.
Hello my name is Mohamed Hussein Jamal, I am a 20 year old male living in Australia.
At 12 years old arriving as a refugee to New Zealand I was diagnosed with pneumonia, an inflammation in the lungs. At age 14 my lungs collapsed as a result of this underlying lung disease, I was rushed to the hospital and was told by the doctor I needed a new lung or I will die. All seemed lost me, for when or where will I get a new pair of lungs?

Growing up as a child in war torn Somalia in Africa, life was very difficult. My mother, a single mother along with my siblings and I lived in a poor community. Living in poverty like any other family meant not being able to go to school and having a poor health due to lack of food, clean water and air. Coming to New Zealand was a changing point in my life, though I did not understand the language or culture and found it difficult to fit in. I was grateful for being able to have access to food, clean water, healthcare and education.
Reuniting with my father who I haven’t seen since I was young was one memory that I will forever cherish. Making new friends and playing outside in an environment that was free of danger and an air that smelt divine was what I most enjoyed in New Zealand.
That all changed when my lungs collapsed, I was on oxygen 24hrs and couldn’t play with my friends. My general health started to decline and deteriorate. I became weaker and started to withdraw from people. That little boy full of life and smile was no longer there. I felt like I had no reason to laugh, smile or go on anymore.
5:00 pm on the 12/12/2009. It was on a Saturday when I received the news that a pair of lungs were available, a family lost their daughter that day and had donated her lung. I pray for that little girl and her family every day for giving me another chance at life.
With my new lungs I felt a window of hope opened for me and had a reason to live. Now at 20 years of age these lungs have started to deteriorate, I am back on the 24 hr oxygen ad confined to my house. I haven’t been able to eat much or walk around much due to breathlessness. With your help and generosity I am hopeful that my condition will change and Life in Somali was hard and difficult, never was easy. Growing up I didn't have the best childhood where most of the kids had. Ah, memories, that were not forgettable with full of laughs, tears and happiness. "Me" on the other hand where I had nothing but a bad memory, but that didn't stop me live my life and what I did was to leave that behind. Leaving Somalia going to New Zealand was something I was looking forward to but saying goodbye to people I love was the hardest thing to do for all of us but we knew one day we will see them again. My journey in NZ is unforgettable, but if had to pick one of my best moments it would be seen my dad for the first time & you have no idea how happy my sis and i was to start a new chapter with him. However, the environment and language were kind hard for all us, but we managed it age. . Life was great for me, everything was going well for me, but it didn't last forever unfortunately. I remember that night very clear when my life completely changed. I was pretty much watching this movie call with the family. It was so funny that I couldn't stop coughing nonstop. I reach to the point where my family was concerned about my coughing so my dad decided to take me to the hospital to see if there's anything wrong with me. After a while, the doctor went through check up on me, see what's causing the cough, then they run a blood test and see what is really wrong with me. The next morning I remember waiting the result, my blood text, but all I can remember is that getting the bad news from doctor it broke me into peaces just hearing one of the mailings is nothing and I cannot longer do the things I love was something upsetting and sad for me. My life went upside down in 2009. My dream was ruined, everything I love was out of the door. In 2009, it was the worst year ever for me. I was an average guy who was happy, smiling and full of laughs & had the energy than transform into a very weak guy, I literally didn't had the strength to do anything but lie in bed I was depressed, angry, useless and empty. It hurt me, how my life changed so fast, I would redo it just get the old me back, h, Wever, II had to accept the way my life turns out to be and cope with it. In addition, I love soccer, running knowing that can't something I had to live without but the love will always stay with me. The hardest part for me was lying in bed few months with an oxygen 24hours & not able to eat I was fight for my life, I was pretty doing whatever I can to stay positive & sufficeAlhamdulillahlah in few weeks later a miracle happened. I got a second change thanks to the family who gave me their daughter's lungs. Although I got a second chance, it was sad they lose their daughter, but I could never thank them enough for saving my life. It was a dream come true. And I will be back strong then before

I ask you for your help, I need another set of lungs and the surgery is expensive.

Please share my story to everyone you know and I wish you the best
