Some where like GL is best suited travelling on your own. Sitting at the top of the mountains & taking in all of Allah SWTs beautiful creation & contemplating on life.

Can we build modern cabins?

It has amazing tourism potentials and it sits between the three biggest cities; Hargeisa, Burao and Berbera.

Hit me back dee.
Sxb any sort of development is allowed! On the top of the mountain is already ruined castles that belonged to the British which need to be refurbished!
Sxb you seem to know your things even naming the elderly man. I trust your information.

Tell me are you Gacan Libaax local?

How long does it take from Hargeisa to GL and is the road save?

Is it easy to get up there? Are the any farms in the lands below the mountains?
I was born not far from Gacan Libaax sxb!
It's roughly 2 hours+ because there's isn't a road after Dhubato, easy to get there as long as you're driving a 4 by 4 vehicle and very safe!
Not that many farms nearby the mountain but there are farms close-by villages like Biyo fadhissinka, Weeraarta etc

Very beautiful place, never been there even though I've stayed in Sheikh a couple of times.

My paternal grandmother was born here even though she was originally from Balicalanle in southern Togdheer (Hawd). Her mother, my paternal great grandmother, was from Gacan Libaax.
