Ethiopia Cuts Zoomalia River Water For DDSI.

Post by JSL3000 »

Looks like Zoomalia rivers will eventually dry up in near future if they don't beg ethiopia to stop raping them from both sides.

Somaliland relying on koonfur food is the biggest myth peddled here. That might have been the case pre-1991 but majority of the produce today is imported from Ethiopia and the rest is locally produced during the rainy seasons. A truck caring fruits from Lower Shabelle will take almost a week and rot by the time it enters Hargeisa market thanks to the african heat, doesn't really makes sense logically.
They only go as far as puntland.

As for the river drying up it's because of the El nino drought. Only a minuscule amount of water was diverted in kilinka shanaad, larger dams need to be built if water flow is going to be permanently changed. Water levels will be restored again insha allah after the drought's over.

No they didn't, this is western Godey almost in the middle of Ogaden, If they cut from here it means qalaafe and Godey are not receiving water. Somalis like to exaggerate every thing. The project value is just 10 million dollar, for just 25 thousand nomadic people, That 14 km long canal can not divert the whole Shabele river water. As we know there droughts in Ethiopia when ever there is droughts in Ethiopia highlands there will always be water shortage in jubba and shabeele.
