Yusuf garaads take on mogadishu!

I have been saying this for two years(wich is the way mogadishu is heading lol) As a capital doesn't belong to any clan....No 4.5....elected mayor and local assembly by constitution....this means any somali citizen is eligible to run for mayor or assembly but we know how this will be hard for someone without political constituency! Sahal sxb I really think it's about time we come terms with the reality on the ground, hundreds of thousand if not millions of young Hawiye souls parished for this city.

Plus like I said a thousand times, every qabiil in Somalia has a large city Hawiye needs Xamar.

So much of government estates are owned by private Hawiye businessmen, private homes of other Somalis are now occupied by Hawiye. So what are we gonna do start a new war to get these properties back???


Xamar had great memories once but now most none Hawiye Somalis are over it, and by the way we had all our eggs in one place as Somalis before. Therefore it would be perfect to make a small city the capital, and have hargeisa,bossaso, Xamar and kismaayo as the business hubs of the Somali economy.

Like the US has New York,los Angeles ,Chicago and Houston

reer mataan hawiye ma ahoo hee. Besides i believe jareerweyn and reer xamar cadcad owns the city as much as we are.

I am just against yusuf garaad's idea that any somali can be involved in gobolka banaadir's local politics. I rather see the capital getting changed than that.

yeah that's the reality. Today, some koonfur businessmen were robbed in some somali town how can these people want to be treated differently in xamar? Pple mention some guys who got killed in xamar yet they dont mention the 7 businessmen from xamar who got killed just one day in a city they claim!

People from kililka have been told to fuck off by local traders of some region after they took their livestock!

It's like that in everywhere why only xamar?

In America, all you need is to register at the office of the state that your moving to....federalism is one thing and clan is another thing. Having said that, we r R @ statebuilding so the capital belongs to everyone

Bradford is a Labour town....whites r 64% and ethnic minority are about 34%...george Galloway was representing the ethnic minoriy more than the white working class..he's gone now

Bradford has three constituencies: bradford east wich has a Muslim Asian mp, Bradford west with a muslim Asian female mp and Bradford south with a white female mp....generally it's run by the minorites bc of labour!

Mogadishu should be like this without social exclusion...qabil will paly its natural role here with every body having its full rights as citizen.

Sahal Somali theft and abuse is everywhere and not only Xamar, but the difference is that Xamar was once the heart of Somalia.

But it can no longer play that role, why???

Because the people of central Somalia specifically Hawiye need a big city with big port, just like puntland, Somaliland and jubbaland.

How can isaaqs have hargeisa and Daroods have kismaayo,bossaso and Hawiye has to share Xamar with others.

If we went back to the central government model then Xamar must be the capital, but now we are united federal states. Where each state has its own capital city, banaadir should become a gobol and Xamar should be its capital.
