The only true Friend of Somalia Turkish ha noolaato.
For those who saying look how we turn, Russia, Italy, Arabs use to support Siyad bare government and the once before him, Somalia had many friends and enemies this friends use to help and support somalia in every aspects, from farming, factories to military support and training in Russia, my own family have Russian, and Italian train ex military generals and Cornell, today its only Turkish who give decent training and support to Somali army, and even train pilots.
Turkish is the only true friend that Somalia have today against all the enemies whiting and sounding include Ethiopia Kenya and their Somali dabadhilifs which ever form or colour they paint them selfs.

What self hate do you see here? I'm proud Of being Somali and don't ever think otherwise sxb. However, you gotta face reality here. Even Somalis and other Africans in the west who have vast resources and opportunities are fuckups. I agree that it's cultural too, but genetics does play a role here.

And for all these dumbasses who are cheerleading Turkey, don't you all realise that they still deny the Armenian genocide, are killing off the Kurds and support and do trade with ISIS militants?

The ummah today is full of munafiqiin. Sometimes one must wonder how glorious it was to be a Muslim in the golden age of Islam. :wow:

It is why Somalia jas failed, a bunch of tribes who have never been under one state together are forced to share a country and government.
Uu sheeg, comparing countries that are a few decades old to a country that has been more or less functioning for two thousand years. The very basis for argument is flawed.

Phinks, you would wonder why one society was able to consolidate and unite two thousand years ago when we still can't manage but if your answer is that they are smarter then I would questions the depth of analysis. It's simple to default to insulting the African, the biased narrative used to justify European atrocities for hundreds of years is one that might take just as long to go out of fashion. If we score differently in certain tests then again analysing potential reasons is what's needed and not jumping on the bandwagon and believing what others try to teach us about us.

Are some putting the cart before the horse? isn't culture a consequence of a people's intelligence and behaviour? is the reason why they have a thousand years head start due to the greater intelligence of their forefathers?
... Just a thought.

Btw it would be unfair to compare them to somalis because of their lifestyle, sedentary and farming communities are able to form civilizations whereas pastoralist nomads cannot.

@estarix. 'Culture' is just a fancy word for thousands of years of accumulated customs and folk wisdom. These are largely shaped by the land you live in and the people you interact with. The more hospitable the land and the more types of people your tribe comes into contact with, the richer your culture and the more developed your society becomes. Somalis have lived for thousands of years in arid and inhospitable land. They were also largely isolated from great civilisations since they lived inland ans warrior nomads. There was a period stretching from the ancient into the medieval age where somalis were sophisticated mercantile city-states but they were destroyed by war and portuguese pirates/naval ships. Only the Ajuuraan managed to fend them off and Ajuuraan themselves were brought down by civil war.

There is no culture or anything that leads to victory of one nation over another. It is all by the will of Allah as he raises and lowers any nation at will

As a prime example look at the rise of the Arabs, Mongols, and currently the Normans who pretty much conquered the known world during their periods of domination. They were all Barbarian Savages of the highest order but they destroyed all the standing civilisations in their path

The last 2000 years has been the age of the Barbarians ever since Rome fell. Before Rome fell you had many cultural dynasties all over the world that lasted centuries and Millenials but that age is long gone as it gave way to the waves of marauding Raiders who were Savage but then settle into civility after pillaging the conquered lands of all their wealth and living like fat cats till somebody more vicious and Savage comes and takes their spoils.

Civilisation died Millenias ago what we have now is the raider age don't let all the glitter fool you this is all short lived

I like Erdogan. He's not perfect but at least he's proud of his religion. He doesn't bend over the backwards and do anything just for praise from Western countries for being 'democratic'.

 Thank you!

At the height of the Roman empire they probably had no interest in what came before it and could not picture a time when they would lose influence and only be in history books. Such is the way of the world, take your lot with some dignity, patience and perseverance. If you want to be one of the influencers of society feeling sorry for ourselves isn't going to make anyone the next Genghis Khan
