You bunch of racist foreign qaxooti knaves!

If a faarax was physically assaulted or killed by cops, it wouldn't be because of his clans, but because he is black. And who ever will be speaking for the community (somali) will acknowledge the fact that it was racially motivated. In other words....., he was black.

Qabweynida inagu jirta iyo reality-gu kala fog.

This is why I never style my hair. The amount of arguments I gotten into over this. This yardie said "you relaxed your hair like my wife" and all the africans burst into laughs.

I remember in holland, this old guy from suriname (a former dutch colony in south america) calling me a nigger. Ignorning the fact that he was darker than my futo, him calling me the n word when his ancestors are from a dutch plantation colony. La xowla.
:snoop:
Indonesians were better neighbors than those from Suriname.

As for the UK, we seem to have strong suspicions of each other. As in most of the other black communities view us as different and alien to them and us likewise.

As a kid I remember being targeted by blacks. They would make comments about my hair and how they thought it was relaxed, everthing seemed to revolve around physical appearance with them. When they eventually came to the realisation that we just had different facial features and hair to them it started to turn into a strange relationship. They would now get offended by the smallest things we said, whereas they would insult us without limit. This is just testimoney to a people who have been mentally raped by the savage Europeans, and now they come to us with their confusion.

On the one hand some of them try to claim us and others distance themselves from us, due to the stigma associated with Islam in Europe. All in all they escalated this dysfunctional relationship from their own insecurities. To be honest Somalis did not care, as we already know who we are. We can count back 25 generations or more for goodness sake. But many of them seem to think that we are just as confused as them. They literally scour the internet for questions like "have Somalis ever been enslaved?" I mean WTF? Who does that but these people.

All in all however I would say that things have improved drastically from the old times. We use to literally be at war with them at some points, but now we seem to have grown to understand one another.
I definitely agree with you. It's mostly Caribbean and African American blacks who project their confused/colonised mentality on us. Many of them have severe self-image problems relating to their features and they then assume that Somalis look down on them because they look different.

The fact that Somalis can be proud/arrogant and have a strong sense of identity doesn't exactly help.

The tragedy is that many of our youth are rejecting their Somaliness for this confused "black" identity. And it's mostly for shallow reasons like hip-hop culture, which they find exciting.

Somalis are getting attacked for their Diin and our people are drowning in the oceans by the thousands, yet these chicks want to attach themselves to the struggles of people who do not give a damn about them.. Sad reality..

We never see these BLM Somalis speaking up for actual Somali causes.
