only visited once in 2005, found it ok, people were cool
i know its a big place and i would have a different experience in some other states.

Only thing that bothered was the TV, local news scared me shitless.
There were more police chases, murders, etc on the local news in those 3 weeks i was there , than several years in Australia.

The police are racist and prejudices bastards. These killings of innocent black men have been happening for decades, arresting them on fake charges by the police and sentencing them to long terms in jail for petty felonies by racist judges and prosecutors, finding them guilty of crimes they are innocent of by white biased juries. Racism is ingrained in the American psych wether they think they passed it or not. You can't walk on the streets as a black man without people crossing the road over, you can't stand next to a lady without her holding her purse close, you can't enter a store with been followed, you can't walk around neighborhood without been confronted or shot, you can't deal with law enforcement when stopped with out been a suspect and leading to your death or arrest for resisting arrest by standing up for your rights or questioning why you have been stopped!!. You can't get a job without been discriminated against, you can't rent an apartment with been rejected. Racism is here and thriving they just deny it & hide it!! #BlackLivesMatter

I think it's because right to freedom of speech protects hate speech in the US whereas it is a crime in other countries.

So this is more to do with pop.size of the minorities? But how would that just explain the open and visceral racism almost as though American Whites are a special breed. Is it the civil rights and slavery history in the US?
