I don't like anything that is not English. Sorry. Russian history makes me puke. To me English history--the great Anglo-Saxon history gives me orgasm!

I think I love the Regency era. It was an era that was magnificent. I am not even a big fan of Elizabethan era, which I should I know. But I feel like during the regency era---English people began their modern trajectory. I like the rich English language flavor of that period. It all started with Jane Austen. I hate that woman. She made me fall in love with the English Regency. Right now I am reading a Victorian book about Mrs Norton. 'The Criminal conversation of Mrs. Norton by Diane Atkinson. Delicious.
The chinese and the Russians are just a little too foreign and disgusting to me. English History feels home.
