Most iidoor in the know realised years ago that Ethiopia would be the last country to recognise s/l.
Apart from nationalism.....the south has nothing to offer s/l.
The southerners are a basket case under Bantu management.....with no prospect of change for the foreseeable future.
Although the Dhulbahante don't hold a veto over recognition...having them onside will obviously strengthen the cause of secession.
The current status quo where Dhulbahante/Warsengeli are used by Mog/Garowe is intolerable.
The question we should consider is whether we want to live in a Somali territory that has true sovereignty, and where we can determine our own destiny, or remain at the mercy of an Amisom colony run by suit wearing moryaans. I'm becoming increasingly sympathetic to the former.

The only trouble with this is that Isaaq is not genuine about building a nation. Aren't they the ones encroaching on Dhulo/Warsan land? Do you really think north-western Harti would have a problem with Isaaq if Isaaq did not start the aggressive land-expansionist project?
Come on mate, don't be naive. Build a separate state for SSC and join the Federal union, if Galnus can sit at the table, so can SSC!
Whether you choose to believe it or not, Isaaq have an inherent fear and obsession with Daarood.
If you say so.
The darood threat to Isaaq/Hawiya in former Somalia has been vanquished/extinguished.
How the once mighty tribe of Darood has fallen is sad to see.
Darood has been politically neutralized and the best parts are being cannibalised as we speak REGION 5/NFD and Khatumo.
All Puntland can do is watch from the sidelines as a result of weakness.
All Darood can do is talk about who will be a senator/Mp in the Republic of Hawiya
We are dead serious about Somaliland including Sool and Eastern Sanaag.
Somaliland is here to stay better get used to the new reality.
