Im of the view that there is no such thing as a Moslem dress and it can even be considered an innovation.
What is your take on this seemingly controversial issue, bros and sisters in Deen?

No such thing as a Muslim dress. There is no Muslim dress, language, culture, people, colour, race, food or whatever. Khamiis is Arab traditional clothing just like Hijab, Niqab, Burka and all of that. In the Qu'ran it says to cover yourself and dress modest, not dress like an Arab.

LoL Khamis is a very feminine dress code. But I understand why people wear it in hot climate areas of the mid East.

It is Sunnah. Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) wore khamis. If you emulate what he did, it is Sunnah, just more blessing. This is Islam 101, we learn this at a very young age, during dugsi. Also, the Prophet (PBUH) had hair length just above his shoulders, so if you can grow your hair to that length it is also Sunnah.

Khamis is just Arabic skirt. It was not made in Heaven but is from cotton, polyester and the other materials readily available across the Chinese and Bangladeshi factories.
There is nothing special about it.
In Heaven I am sure they don't have Khamis.
No cultural cloth is more holy than another.
Arabs mind foked you lot.
