This vociferous bunch is a tiny minority and not true representative of the Community.

I find incredulous that black civic leaders and constituents do not demand more from their government. Inner-city plight, drugs, killings, other vices are tolerated by the well-heeled African-Americans. There is a disconnect there. They should demand more from their government, local to federal level.

This alone can't be explained away due to poverty. Is there some sort of innate culture of negativity among African-Americans. Mind you, I am specifically talking about African-Americans. Nigerians and other Africans stay clear away from association with African-American drama. I see all these students in elite universities such as Stanford who are 1st or 2nd generation Americans of Black descent thriving and reaching their potential. Not so with African-Americans. Invariably one has to ask themselves, why?
