Define Somalinimo

Post by HappyRasta »

What is Somalinimo, and is their a difference between between Somalinimo and Somaliweyne ?

Somalinimo to me is a disease used and propagate by those who would pander to the desires and fears of the Somalis. It is an emotional response that will not solve or resolve the challenges faced by all Somalis . In fact it will make you feel good while you willingly forfeit your rights and freedoms.

Somalinimo is ethnic national patriotism the end goal being Somaliweyn... some people have it others don't, I feel sorry for those who don't.

I would forfeit my life for Somalinimo thats how strong my conviction is, it is one of the pillars in my life, gives me a sense of direction, purpose, love, identity and I will protect it with my life.

somalinimo means something different depending to which qabil u belong to.

for isaaq it means the togetherness of the ethnic group from a cultural aspect for example. u are in a club with dominqans and russians and u see a fellow somali u have a chit chat u to both understand the situation.

the ciise waraabe in jabuuti believe in the same thing

somalinimo for darod means somaliweyn and that sayid siigeyste and gen afweyne were founders of somalinimo for darod it means to support the expansion and forceful unity led by a darood mullah or a secular it doesnt matter.

somalinimo for hawiye means just the flag niiko eating cambuulo together in xamar as equals

darood and hawiye inject politics into somalinimo darood differs from hawiye though darood believe that only darood has the real message and can bring somalism to other somalis there is no other altarnative also u have to believe in sayid siigeyste as the father of somali... the somalinimo of hawiye is different there are no persons that need to be honered. hawiye is very flexible they dont mind eating cambuulo in garowe hargeysa jabuuti garisa as long as we eat together. darod somalininmo is darod need to eat first the hadhaa and qaxaadhato other somalis should have

Iidoor always talking about Darood.
As if they are angels on earth.
What did Iidoor for the past 29 yrs build in SSC? nothing but only placing the SL in SSC and begging IC for funds.

there will be no Somalinimo until we do 5 things:

1)Midgaans get rights, protection under the law, abusive words are not used to insult them,

2) the man in charge as the president doesn't favor his tribe, no one is told you cannot be president because of your tribe, why would he want the country stable when his rights are trembled upon and told you can never amount to be president because your tribe doesn't deserve it? because only darood and hawiye can be leaders of the nation?

3) a person can go and stand in any city as an MP/governor and not abuse the rights of the locals because his tribe is different so he doesn't care, or is not welcomed because his tribe is not from the country etc.

4) there are constitutional safe guards and limits on the executive power of the nation, look how Trump is being sued for barring Muslims, can we have leaders who will respect the dastoor of the nation or will they be like your average african/arab dictator?

5) no subsidies for connected business/ families/ friends who own business and get special privileges from the president (HSM brother is now the only one who can take you inside the airport in Mogadishu, HSM banned taxies that used to charge $2 and his brother has state sponsored monopoly where he charges $11 for the same journey, limited options and the free competition and also destroyed jobs of former taxi drivers who used to take people to the airport and many other examples iof monopolies being dished out in Jubbaland, Puntland, Somalialand, Moqadishu etc. how can the country grow economically when a chosen few are the only ones to compete as businessman, why do you think silicon valley is so successful? because they dont favor a chosen few, they all have equal opportunity to compete to create firms, jobs etc.
