If farmaajo is smart enough he would mix all the troops and send them across the country.

Also heard puntland is also sending.

What about Jubbaland and southwest?

No. this is an integrated SNA composed of all clans and different commanders. it will operate in Mogadishu and koonfur but can be sent to any reagion to pacify it like marka and other towns as national army.

at the End of the day SNA thoughtout all regions will have one command. US wants to establish in somalia an independent military institution modeled after egypt then they will provide the funds and scholarship

The US has different vission than the UK where the UN envoy hails from. while the latter wants to continue the state building efforts, the former thinks this will take too long so they should manage somalia through the security via an indepent army until a strong govt appears

thats why US-funded special forces operate on both sides of mudug or the war on al shabaab in southren mudug

so how? they will pick generals from all the clans to lead this institution, most important i know is D&M

so at the end all the regional SNA will be commanded by these generals.

after the formation of this multi-clan based SNA, arms embargo will be fully lifted.

so we will have the SFG

the federal states

and the endependent military institution.

all r on the way but i believe they started with HG bc the old folks were obstacle on their military increase in xamar, they even rejected HG vice president for southwest bc sakiin was after getting other HAGs support for his villa somalia dream and then he started negotiating with the dir clan on this seat. sakiin would have appointed abdikarim Guleed as a pm. mostly the PM since he hails from small pro-alshabaab subclan, prefers bringing central soldiers in mogadishu to rely on. so i guess they started with their urgent need thought its a policy.

 another thing that would be great is if farmajo gathered all other militas like ahulsuna, khatumo , tribal militas to train them and integrate them into one national army so the south can be clean from wahabi rats

The worst thing Somalia should do is emulate Egypt's army. It is prudent for the military, and Somalia, to come under the control of a civilian leadership.

So long as you don't use it on unarmed civilians. SNA is overwhelmingly one clan.

No one platoon, company, brigade or division should have more than 20% from one clan.

Now they are talking. This is what we had been missing whole of these years. Gather men from all parts of Somalia train, mix, and send them wherever needed.

The Somali army and special forces were managed and created dhulbahante general (general Adam) for past 6 years. And he had done great job though lack of funds. The reasons behind his success: first he is Not corrupted man and does not have any attachment to any region or tribe. Honestly dhulbahante are neutral in politics war in Somalia. Dhulbahante are not hunger for power. They don't support SL or PL, their loyalty is only for Somalia the country. It doesn't matter if the president is HSM or farmaajo or AY.
