It's simple, Turkish are not stupid, they are smart, they care their airlines most, they want to make Hargeisa their hub. No one is willing to invest largest terminal Mogadishu and risking his business.

I like it. I welcome Al Arabia from Sharjah's plans or expression of interest for SL flights. Hargeisa is slowly becoming great entry into Africa for Gulf budget airliners. I prefer them over the Turkish one because we do more business with Arabia.

BTW Burao airport is under constructions.



This year the award goes to Burco who went from sleeping Wahabi centre to prospering city in just 12 months. I am impressed.

Once the burao airport is complete, Fly Dubai and Air arabia will fly to Burao, Ethiopian, Turkish airlines, Air Djibouti and Fly Emirates will fly Hargeisa. In shaa Allaah.

Eastern regions from Burao, Erigavo, La Anod, etc will use, Air Arabia and Fly Dubai.
