Dont mention my name again Bon Marehan.

"the Bon Marehan who correspond to the Midgan of Northern Somaliland"

"Among others may be mentioned the Bon Marehan, so called because they eat dead meat."

"For example, only one Somali group in the NFD, the Bon Marehan, was specifically geared to hunting; and these people originated in Jubaland, and were considered to be servile."

Consider this your only warning, Bon.

You are a Boon, and this is your history:

"the Bon Marehan who correspond to the Midgan of Northern Somaliland"

"Among others may be mentioned the Bon Marehan, so called because they eat dead meat."

"For example, only one Somali group in the NFD, the Bon Marehan, was specifically geared to hunting; and these people originated in Jubaland, and were considered to be servile."

This really does explain the incessant promotional push and fabrication of history you Boons have been propagating. You feel inferior to other Somalis hence the constant need to validate yourselves.

It also explains the pagan names of your clan, like that of your leader Xiraabu Gutia Tidorous :)

Those were slaves of Mareehan. Not Mareehan themselves. And honestly I see alot of bashing of MX by landers I guess they dislike the fact that Mareehan were leaders of Somalis in the past and even today.

They ruined even this thread in their inferiority.

Yah l see but give credit to Shire's ilk who also contributed a lot in devising the modified Latin script for our beautiful language. Maybe that will boost the credibility and the authenticity of all your claims
There is nothing to prove. Again, I posted;

1. 1961 Somali language report that says the Somali modified latin of Shire Jama is what Somalia needs
2. 1966 UNESCO language commission report that says the Somali modified latin of Shire Jama is what Somalia needs
3. The 1972 Somali language commisison that officially chose the Somali modified latin of Shire Jama as Somalia's script

and posted

4. Professor Martin Orwin head of the African languages department of SOAS documenting with original material, history, and contemporaneous sources how Shire Jama came up with X, C, long vowels, and shibanayaal and using source material that shows Shire was writing with that while Somali written together by Galaal/Andrezjewski had weird diametrics that was never feasible and we never use.

Knowing Somalis, because Galaal was the first chairman of the Somali language commission, some ignorant and uneducated ku tiri ku teen rumour proliferated in the north about him being the father of our script---something these Isaaq kids were told by their equally uneducated parents despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Now look at them, they are LITERALLY in disbelief with so much corresponding evidence saying Shire is the father of our script. Some have given up all attempts to respond like they believe in their lies when they say Siad Barre wrote the 1961 and the 1966 Somali language report and UNESCO report from the UN website.

In any case, this topic is about Col Ali Mataan Hashi, the first Somali pilot and the first and longest commander of the Somali airforce

1. Shires script is different from the script we're using today, look at the orthography of his script and compare the difference yourself. Where are the letters ch and ' if we're using Shires script?

2. Again look at the orthography of Shires script presented in the Unesco report and you'll see that we're not using his script.

3. The long/short vowel system existed as early as 1959 and it was created by Galaal according to Unesco. What's even crazier is the notion that Shire created the letters x and c when the orthography of his script presented in the Unesco report do not contain the letters x and c.

How can anyone take this guy seriously when he's avoiding the debate by regurgitating quotes and "sources" that support his narrative. When questioned, he can't even defend the bits and pieces he has presented as evidence. It's ridiculous.

You have to give it to this Boon, he is persistent :)

No, he was not the first Somali pilot. From the source you listed on the first page:
My special congratulatory message to the veteran flight Captain Mohamud Abdullahi Barre (faytan) and his wife, as the only survivors of the five founding pilots of the Air Force, who have obtained license in 1954 and flown 15 different types both in military and civilian. Faytan was the first pilot trained on jet fighter in Egypt In 1961. The same fighter became the first airplanes that came in use with in the national force by 1963. Faytan has contributed to the foundation pillars of the national carrier, Somalia Airlines in which he has being a pilot from 1964 – 1990.
http://somavires.org/diary.html

Does this boon actually read his own sources?

He was not the first Somali pilot, that would be Mohamud Abdullahi Barre (Faytan), a Hawiye man.

This Boon's claim to fame is that he was one of five Somalis chosen to train as Somali pilots.

Oops, another thread backfire :)

Beesha mudane Xiraabu Gutia Tidorous needs to reconvene and fabricate new material, all your lies are thus far busted:

- Marehan turns out to be a mixture of Somali and Boon, academic sources clearly stating they eat dead meat (not halal) and are considered servile by other Somalis.

- Their participation in the Adal wars were described as "wavering" and "lagging behind", the phrasing is very telling, they were reluctant participants.

- Their leader, named Xiraabu Gutia Tidorous (3 generations of pagan names), described as a "double-dealing swindler" made up excuses not to join the Imam, one of which was his "poverty-stricken state" :(.

- The same Bon Marehan leader killed a boy and fled his land, he went into hiding in Hawiye country in fear of retribution. The imam both chased him and cursed him.

- Siad Barre's English was elementary (this Bon, Voltage, actually claimed he spoke better English than other Somali politicians lol).

- Shire was a minor character in comparison to giants like Muse X. I. Galal.

- This pilot guy was not the 'first Somali pilot', at best he was one of five Somalis chosen to train as pilots.

I really look forward to the next batch of Bon Marehan propaganda.

In responding to an observation made by Robecch Bricchetti that the despised Somali castes are growth-restricted, German ethnologist Eike Friedrich Georg Haberland said:

Image

"The Galla and Somali that I researched didn't even consider the possibility that the Jäger-Töpfer (or hunter-potmakers) should look any different than themselves. On the contrary - the many members of the bon or midgan castes (those names are used synonymously there) of the Digodya and Marehan were regarded as particularly beautiful and tall examples of the Somali people".

There were academic opinions that the Bon Marehan, and other despised Somali castes were growth-restricted ( ), the academic above is actually defending the Bon Marehan in stating his opinion that this is in fact not the case. And that he considers the Bon Marehan and other despised Midgans a tall and "beautiful" examples of the Somali people.

:damn: :dead:

I am thinking we should start a new poll for our resident Boons and require them to list how tall they and their family members are, we must further the research of Mudane Robecch Bricchetti.
