The longest election campaign is the US election. It takes almost 2 years .

We have broken that record by a year, the longest election campaign on the face of earth is that of SL.

Heck our entire life for 26 years were either delayed election, extension of terms or perpetual election that never ends.

We still have the parliamentary, and the house of Gurti. Those will be argued over postponed and finally some abaar will take place and by then the second presidential election will be due and the municipal.
