The turnout was really good actually. It was 80% turnout for those eligble to vote according to NEC so yes the majority did vote. SL has a population of around 4 million people (Google puts it at 3.5 million which hurts your case even further). Of those 4(ish) million people how many do you think are kids? 2 million at least ? I think the mentally or physically disabled number adds a lot on top of the ineligible voters (2 million + kids / youth) , and there's a good amount of Somali's living in SL that aren't even born there meaning they can't vote either. That means there was like 1 million maybe 1.5 million people that could have possibly taken part in this election, 750k of them actually did. Around 80% turnout just like NEC saidZubeirAwal wrote: Tue Nov 21, 2017 5:51 pm There is clear signs of disunity and fragility, Alhamdulilah the majority of us didn't vote, the turn out didn't go above 750k, with Kulmiye getting around 300k of the votes, that tells the the large majority of Somaliland care not for this, Ilaa dumarka iyo caruurta.
Mark my words, this democracy kissing the cadaans futo shit will end sooner or later, until then, safety and security inshallah

Why not congratulate and move the fuck on instead of wasting your time on spreading unfounded rumours?
And if you are confused this is how you do it...

Isaaq is a nation with different views, mentality and interests. We cant all agree on everything and be clones of each other. Online idoor calaacal from both sides shouldnt be something we should be worried about

a big family indeed.

few online keyboard warriors do not represent the majority of Isaaqs.

Re: Isaaq disunity
lets not kid ourselves, this election showed we r divided along clan lines, i have seen supporters of bixi ,mostly reer samatar, who never cared about SL before until he became president and started talking like they own SL ,and on the other hand, i seen supporters of cirro, mostly eastern HY, have abondomed SL altogether and started putting Somali blue flag and calling for SanagLand.
this election is a true image of our society, there is nothing called isaaq unity.
we need to restructure our education system and make individuals put statehood in favor of qabiil.
this mistrust between individuals and state is what keeping africa behind since the colonialism era through the post independence and liberation revolutions to the current fake democratic states .
jeeganta have to stop if we care about SL to have any future.

Re: Isaaq disunity
utter drivel the only time isaaq was unified was during the Daarood ascendency . and those who fought to the bitter end and those who are celeberating today as Mujaahids are two different spieces.

A man using his sub clans name as his handle tells us that Isaaq is disunited SMH.ZubeirAwal wrote: Tue Nov 21, 2017 3:35 pm Shame on the isaaqs who think that insulting other isaaq clans during this vulnerable moment would benefit them somehow, people are ready to kill their fellow clansmen over abstract ideations such as democracy, that originated in a land far away from ours.
Muse won, Cirro lost, we are all brothers and sisters in our nation, Habar jeclo need to calm the fuck down they are behaving as if they have their HY neighbours in serfdom, ha should remember not too long ago there was no zuberyiya, there was Habar magaadle, behind the qudhac there is a shit stinking cadaan laughing at this disunity, and you can add the xoolos down south to that list.
We must be critical of anything that results in the division of our people, but instead there are people who entertain these divisions. This is not a victory for sacad muse, or a defeat for HY, remove that shit from your heads.

Muuse is the president because of the will of the people. 55% of electorate voted for him. Why should the will of the people be ignored to appease the losing party.

Mr refer " ana Waa lay qabaa ama ka wax wasaan ku xigaa " otherwise known as ciise muse. Even NEC out of fear chose to declare the general election results and chose to hide what Biixi won in every province and district.
Care to tell me why they would hide such crucial info. By the way congratulations. This the first government for the last 25 years that either ciise muse wasn't the first wife or the second wife. Congratulations welcome to manhood.

Re: Isaaq disunity
isaaq unity has always been strong. In 2003 Siilaanyo lost by less than 100 votes, specifically more like 80. Did he cry and pout and scream fraud? No. He just accepted that the people didn't choose him. Cirro lost by 80k votes and tried to claim Fraud. 80k vote loss isn't even close and they want you to believe there had to be massive fraud occuring across the country for Wadani to lose by 80k votes. It just wasn't true. If Wadani want the presidency so bad they should take the process seriously next time and stop with their tribal mindset. Make a coalition , and have a real plan you will use to convince voters you have the right vision next time.
Re: Isaaq disunity
Isaaq are divided and can't govern themselves. Unfortunately it's bad from r everyone.
Re: Isaaq disunity
Xplaya saxiib I am not Ciise Muuse or HA. I honestly do not know where you got that from. Let it go now Cirro lost by a massive landslide and he only has himself to blame.X.Playa wrote: Tue Nov 21, 2017 9:52 pmcaadani90 wrote: Tue Nov 21, 2017 9:25 pmA man using his sub clans name as his handle tells us that Isaaq is disunited SMH.ZubeirAwal wrote: Tue Nov 21, 2017 3:35 pm Shame on the isaaqs who think that insulting other isaaq clans during this vulnerable moment would benefit them somehow, people are ready to kill their fellow clansmen over abstract ideations such as democracy, that originated in a land far away from ours.

Better luck next time. With a different approach (one that does not include Cirro) hopefully next time Wadani can win.
