Hiraab must really hate Kheyre (Political Plot Twist)

Post by Shirib »

So Abdulqadir Osoble (Abgaal) is apparently going to run for Speaker of the House. If he get elected it means Kheyre would have to go on a technicality of the power sharing agreement since Hawiye cannot hold both Speaker and Prime minister positions and Farmaajo would have to nominate a new PM.

If this is true it would be a wild plot twist.

Abgaal and Habar Gedir sure know how to ruin know the party

According to the 4,5 disease it will be a person of the same clan as Jawaari. So no, the failure Osoble will not return, instead we advise him to wash his Nigis and ilaah towbad ha ka keeno for his previous failures.

It doesn't make any sense. The PM position is ALREADY being occupied. This would make sense like the election when the Ogaden Xiddig ran for Speaker. He could because President or PM wasn't occupied so his clan didn't have anything.

If the PM position is already occupied, doesn't that constitutionally mean the clan who occupies that position cannot be in the running for another top position? And what would stop a Darod from running even if the Presidency is already occupied by Darod? Does that then means Farmaajo has to resign from Presidency?

It's ridiculous.

p.s. He is probably running (if he is) because there is no precedent set. This would just be an opportunity to set a precedent as long as they have the 4.5 principle. My guess is he will not be allowed to run whether he announces or not.

It's the same principle with the elections.

Every clan ran for Speaker.

After the speaker, only Darod and Hawiye ran for President.

After the Presidential election, only Hawiye were in contention for PM.

It's a chain of events. You cannot retroactively reorient 4.5.

Those are some really good questions. Who actually rules on it though since there is no precedent set?

Well Parliament right. They are the legislating organ and they do have an interim leadership. There will be a committee that sets the rules of their election I am sure.

Kheyre is taking jabs at Hiiraab and has so far gotten away with it. The only wild card is how long can he can maintain his hold on Farmaajo.

speaker position should stay with Digil and Mirifle, but I believe Abgaal have every right to campaign for the position since it is done through election in the parliament anyone can run for it except for Marehan and Murursade. Personally I think this is for the best.

the reason why I say digil and Mirifle should get it the position again, is because they can remove clan extremism accusation for the equation at the very least.

If not Digil and Mirifle, Isaac, Dir, many other clans or subclans can get the position, in my opinion and I would support them depending on what they bring to the table both on a clan level as well as on an individual level.

Why are you lying? Anyone can ran for president, Dir can ran for president if they want too, but one no really interesting it, remember in 2012 elections, Isaaq, Gadabursi, Hawiye, Darod, everyone was running for president. Waar cidina wax ku fali mayso, bakhaar madhan.

Garhajis has a good chance running for Speaker position, they already hold head of senate and ministerial post, time for Ciidagale and Habar Yonis to become nasab again don't you think.
