According to everything we know, the longest and most outspoken critic of the gov (Fiqi) became bitter because he desperately wanted to be named PM. According to Abdirahman Abdishakur, he expected Farmaajo to "coordinate" closely with him (i.e. name him PM or high position) which is allegedly what Farmaajo promised in "exchange" for AA's votes---dude actually said this in interview shamelessly ignoring the fact he had no votes to give (didn't he get like 2 votes?).

We also know Somalia is the single last country on the UN Human Development Index with 0 job opportunities beyond small scale service provision (relative to the rest of the world).

Then you factor in that our recent political experience has been defined by one thing; instability, with continuously changing governments that functioned like a revolving door for producing temp hires that could always look forward to a new gig every 6 months.

Why is out outlandish to imagine that many of the "opposition," not just to Farmaajo, but before him and after him, will be motivated by nothing else but personal interests and getting rid of a gov they are not part of for a new gov they could try their luck with?

Finally, this gov has had the same administration, more or less, for the last 3 years---why would this not inspire even more antipathy from the people mentioned above who have literally had their entire political calculus upended.
