Apologies and goodbye

Post by Mk777 »

I joined this site just over a year and a half ago. Mainly for political discussion etc but on recent reflection I realised many of posts are of fkd nature. I’ve decided it’s time to quit sincere apologies to everyone I’ve insulted or any clans. Especially some posts I made regarding wanlaweyn dagaal. I don’t recall posting anything graphic but I remember I posted some burnt houses etc as I was very angry/distressed that a mentally ill man was burnt which I realise is still wrong.
Again sincere apologies to anyone/clan I have insulted.

The only way you can rectify your wrongdoings is by giving the hand of a female relative to a man from a rival clan.

Indeed, that would absolve him of all past qabiil-motivated misdeeds.

I tremendously appreciate the information/understanding I increased about Somalia/Somalis through your participation here.

Specifically, your voice to me was an expression of the Gaaljecel/Gardheere Samaale (and related affiliates like Gugundhabe/Saransoor Samaale) voice which we don't often hear currently being one of the groups still under the yolk of the Shabaab control.

What you shared holistically was real, it was important, and it was impactful for an entire community among Somalia's people.

If I could impart a thought, why the need to "leave?"

Your voice is needed and your expression of it contributes to the voice of an entire group. This is an online forum and many people read it; besides the fact the nature of where/when/how you post is your business, the information you impart brings visibility to a community for readers who may not necessarily always come across their voice.

Think about it.
