i consider the split of Janan a reconciliation between the mxs(ergo mx) but i think he defected for two reasons 1-pre-emptive measure before there is an agreement on Gedo which weakens his chances on the basis that there will be a truce and Amisom police and the new officials will be picked/supported by the notables and nominated by Madoobe who may scapegoat him and he was not allowed in Kismayo they told him to stay in the bush bc it could damage the reputation of JL in the eyes of the donors not bc they had some suspicion of him as they claiming now. in Gedo it will look different(local clan issue) . 2- They paid him millions with an amnesty and he is wanted by the Amnesty International and in this regard i heard from a weak source that once he arrives Mogadishu they will be issuing statement on him that he will face criminal prosecution in order to acquit him in court so he can run again in Gedo( يعنى مسرحية show)

in terms of "his crimes" i think that the responsible person of the war in Gedo is Farmaajo, Janan was nothing but a local security minister there were crimes he committed before the war there were mass executions without a court of prisoners accused of having a relationship with al Shabaab.
