I’m connecting the dots between his campaign trail Vs Farmaajo, appointments so far, and past history like the post above. Bottom line although I believe Farmaajo is a Somali 21st century statesman, he is not cut out for the way Somalia is today. HSM is bottom line. You, and I both noticed Farmaajo’s unwillingness to ‘dance with the devil’ so to speak in dealing with the ‘opposition’.

Farmaajo was obsessed with projecting he’s a 18 Somali region man of the people. HSM seemed more willing to get his hands dirty, do whatever was necessary, including screaming ‘Waa Mareexaan’ at the top of his lungs


Honestly if Farmaajo is smart he won’t just sit on Xamar. He’ll spend time in Gedo/Caabudwaaq, Garowe, Baydhabo, Gaalkacyo. Deni, Madoobe have their terms ending soon, and are reviled there. He should start doing early subtle campaigning there for N&N candidates. That way he could build a coalition.
