Brothers or sisthers, please tell us how much money you have to pay for zakah. And i want my zakah money to go to somalia, what should i do.

Zakat-ul-fitr is an equivalent of $8 -$10 dollars per person and you can send it to Somalia if you know who you wanted your Zakat money to end up with.

Couple of years ago it was $5, last year $7, and now 8-10 dollars. Is it me or is Zakada going up every year. Very Happy

All jokes aside, I though Zakat is a 2.5% levy on most valuables and savings held for a full year. Who comes up with this figure of (8-10 dollars) anyway?
