One point of view uses the single individual/tree as the reference because they believe what is good for the individual/tree is good for all of society/forest.

The other uses the society/forest as the reference and says what is good for society/forest is good ultimately for the individual/tree.

The first pegs everything to individual rights, the second pegs everything to social good.

Pan-Somalists (and pan-Somalilanders really vis-a-vis LA attack) believe in social good and therefore Somali (Somaliland) unity is what is ultimately good even if individuals like Somaliland (SSC) supporters have to be compelled.

I believe in individual rights and therefore what is good for every Somali individual is ultimately what is good for Somali unity.

Pan-Somalis want to configure one big estate as what is best for us even if someone of us are forcefully brought in and are unhappy.

I belive multiple units side by side is perfectly fine even if so be the individual's choice for a happy, loving family next to each other.
