this really is a piss take, useless old men who make up the political class in both somaliland and somalia don't care about their own people or their country to varying degrees.....they only care about themselves and their immediate family members (clan is not the same thing as immediate family for qabiilists at the back)

Why is it that the issue of illegal migrant "workers" crises, is not being addressed in Somaliland's upcoming elections? Hargeisa needs to tackle, once and for all, the massive influx of illegal aliens, otherwise, it will not be long before the demographics of the sadat nation is unalterably changed and the native qaldaamiin are designated a minority qowmiyad in their own homeland.

^ don't know about Somalia but in Somaliland we don't give Oromos citizenship by and large hence we can deport them if necessary, in accordance with international humanitarian law of course

Neither can I speak for Southern Somalia, laakin, in the resource-rich Sultanate of Puntland where I hail from, the leftist government led by Ina Deni has an open-door policy when it comes to illegal immigrants. Hopefully, the more conservative Aaran Jaan, wins the next elections, and implements the necessary measures needed to curb what most Puntland citizens consider as an existential threat, i.e., the out of control free-flow of foreign illegals.

I Just spent a thousand dollars for the last 7 days to make my cousin a fisherman, I bought him a phone, a huge freezer, and fishing gear I rented him 2 bedroom home , he has his own air-conditioning , free electricity, free water, he has atleast one month food stock and his mini fridge in his Room. Even his internet data is covered by me.

On top of that I gave him 100 dollar pocket money on Sunday. I swear on Wednesday (today) he asked me, bro waxan suuqa Ku joogo iisoo dir, sigaar kiiba iga go,ee , . In 4 days he spent it all even though I paid every thing including the appliances and groceries. And he didn't catch one small sardines. In fact he didn't even went near the coast.

They guy bought a whole cartoon of oomaar fish from Thailand. Even though I sent him to bring fish.

Sidaas oo ay tahay I am planning to spend an other 4000 on him to buy a boat for him . Excluding all the other expenses. This is the reality the Somali diaspora are dealing with. I don't think I am the only one who is dealing with this problem.
