^^ it will happen everywhere in the world..even in Somalia, an arab country perhaps before the USA has a female president, i mean come on, if a black man can't get a break in the US, women better get in line. The presidency is a safely guarded postion, corporate america and lobby groups will pay billions to put their man as president. The presidency is not about being a white man anymore...it is for the white man with lots of money. Remember black men got their vote before women in the USA.

Both simultaneously I imagine. There's rumors circulating that George Bush might substitute Cheney with Condaleeza Rice as Vice President. If that proves to be true, then Mrs Rice might run as a candidate for the presidential elections. So you kill two birds (or hawks) with one stone.

Just one question that's been racking my brain....Rice is black right?

I doubt there ever will be a black president simply cuz americans still are afraid of the unknown, plus can u imagine a black ghetto president in the white house? but a female president on the other hand

What if the next presidential elections goes between senator and ex-first lady hilary clinton and condoleezza rise ?

Woman aren't meant to lead men, Not that I'm a male chauvinist, But as far as I'm concerned, women in Islamic country will never have the opportunity to be held accountable in a guidance position.

Indonesia had a female president in the late 60's, and since Indonesia is the biggest muslim country Nurrudin my friend ur talking rubbish

You will not see a US female or black president in your lifetime. However I feel that we will see a black president before we see a female president.

We in Britain had to endure Margaret Thatcher as Prime Minister in the 1980's right through to 1990 (fortunately for me I wasn't born through much of her premiership) . I say "endure" because quite apart from the fact that she was frightingly masculine, she was responsible for nearly dismantling the welfare state, and destroying much of Britian's manufacturing industries.

Those of you advocating that Hillary be made President ought to look at her record, because she recently called for tougher action against Iran, saying that "...the U.S. will not take any options off the table." thus indicating that she would be supportive of a U.S. militiary strike on Iran.

Condaleeza's no good either. Dripping from her hands is the blood of thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women & children, for her role in the invasion of Iraq, not to mention the lives of British and American troops. She's also recently been drumming up support for potential military strikes against the Islamic republic of Iran if it doesn't desist from its perfectly legal pursuit of civil nuclear technology.

First of all I believe that we will see a woman leader in the USA before a black man leader because of Hillary Clinton, she is smart Wink

. On the other hand I don't know anything about woman not leading. I am not sure of anything that says no or yes. Honestly guys we need a women leader in Somali. Do u guys agree or don't agree? The reason for that is becuase "MEN" in Somalia are the reason Somalia is unstablized. Gosh people we need something different for a change for Somali to be better Wink
