Ismahan

It has nothing to do with being short sighted, a divided Darood is good for both Hawiye and Isaaq, not that Hawiye is more united at the moment but if you're old enough to remember the civil war when it was the rest of somalia vs Darood, Darood was still not united.

Just imagine a united Darood with one leader from Sanaag to Ogaadeniya and eveything in between. Do you honestly believe there would be a force strong enough to take it on?

Darood was never close to being united politically or militairly. I think its impossible because its just too damn big.

I dont know you tell me? Is there a force strong enough Laughing

No a serious note. Its in the interest of Somalia to drop all the hawiye did this and Darood did that talk and focus on more important issues. Off the top of my head: Getting rid of the occupying Ethiopian forces. Agree? Smile

keep poking the enemy until they bleed to death. As proven in our history (Islamic history) the last word always goes to Muslims.

It's Ramadan, the month of Jihad, Allahu Akbar.

Even though what you're suggesting is all good and noble it will never happen. No qabiil trusts another and to be honest with you nobody aside from some hawiyes see the Ethiopians as an occupying force. Mudulood, the largest hawiye sub-clan support the presence of the Ethiopians in Xamar.

Somalistan

Don't worry, thats everything that will never happen.

XoogSade,

No smart, intelligent Somali should walk around with such defeatism attitude. Its up to us to change the course and with such ideology and attitude, there is no getting anywhere. Simple. Its up to Somali to decide really, and it should start with the individual if there is going to be positive change. Unfortunetly, this has been passed along to the younger generations. Ilaahay ba umagan Somali.
