I was in middle school.

All the Arabs were cheering and partying about the fact that the US was hit. Dubai was much more conservative back then.

Everybody seemed semi happy that day, I remember.

I was in school, happy as fock, not because 2,000 fat bacon eating Americans and others met their creator but because we were going to be released from school early. When we got released, I didn't even bother to stay up to watch the news, I went straight to bed cause I was sleepy like a motherfocka.

i was at the airport-Heahrow, just came into the country, and some somali lady who was cleaning where we were sitting said to us, "habo hijaabkan dheer tuur" we like "why?" she said, "qiyaamihii aa soo dhow, muslimiintii gaala dii bay kuduuleen" so we went to musqul and changed to our jeans and tight tops!
