I heard the man has been taken out of prison and is now under house arrest. I believe the German govt will probably ask for him to be extradited. However, the Somaliland govt or for that matter the former Somalia Koonfuria govt doesn't have an existing extradition treaty with the Germany. This could possiblly create a diplomatic row which puts all parties concerned in a difficult position. I think, what will happen is for this man to deported back to Germany and the German govt will probably give Somaliland some form of ''developmental aid'' to recompense for their citizens misdemeanors.

Taking to people, I garnered the impression there is increased hostilities towards all whiteys including some of my colleagues. Whatsmores, Hargeisa seems to be on high alert from potential Alshabab attack. The police and Somaliland army are on standby and security is very tight.
