Secondly, the voter turnout was not 100% and the registered voters were not 100% of the population. Lastly, 48% of the population is under the age of 14, thus a huge part of the population were not even registered to vote, let alone turning out to vote.

Lol some people are dreaming, Mogadisho has more population than the entire Northern Somalia, that is Hargaysa, Burco, Gabiley, Borama, Berbera and the villages. How the hell can you compare the South to the north ?? foolish.

The largest tribes in the north are Isaaq and Harti, the largest southern tribes are Hawiyo, Marehan, But the thing about the south is that there are so many other goddamn tribes, about 50 other decent sized tribes, whereas in the North I can only think of Leelkase and Gadubursi(maybe also Ciise). In the South there are Jareer, Ogaden, Benadiri, Barwani, Bajuni, Shiekhal, Xawaadle, Gaaljecel, AwXassan, Biyomaal, Garre iyo balaayo oo la tirin karin, Digil iyo Mirifle, Leysan, Eelay etc etc the list goes on for a long time.

Anything Below Gaalkacyo is 70% of the population of Somalia. Bloody there are more Southern IDP's in Somaliland and Puntland than its natives.

How is federalism gonna work with the majority of the population unaccounted for ?

Mog is twice the size of H-town and it has a population of 2million which is more than the total 1.5 million people in the previously mentioned towns.

Ximan, I don't know why they think the south is sparsely populated, Marehan main towns population add up to a million, Kismaayo(200,000) Doollow(130.000) Luuq(100.000) Beledxaawo(150.000) Baardheere(150.000) Caabudwaaq(210.000), Ceelwaaq(90.000).

Recent stats and a recent census is needed.

Oodweyne is 100-200,000, Arabsiyo is 80,000-100,000.

Your right, Mogadisho lost its population. so the estimates are probably off.

But Somaliland is still 1,5 million. do not say Berbera is 150,000,(its less than 100,000) that is where you lose all credibility, and how is Gabiley bigger than Berbera ?? Gabiley is also less than 100,000. Carigaabo is 150,000 ?? WTF, Cerigaabo is even smaller than Gabiley, and also you are so desperate to add more people to the numbers that you included Xiis, Maydh WTF, they are villages, at least the other are small towns.

Hargaysa is 800,000-1million, the rest of the 500,000 is shared between Berbera, Burco, and the small towns. so Somaliland is 1,5 million.
