Even though this is so irrelevant to this series as he's been doing somewhat of an alright job:

Not necessarily regarding whether or not the Heat can win this, cuz truthfully, the Mavericks are average compared to what the Heat can do if they're both playing at the top of their game at both sides of the floor. The Heat's defensive rotations are too sharp, their wings are too athletic and their schemes shrink the court to about the size of the rim when their coverages are working like they can be. Offensively, they're just too dynamic with too many ways to score at the rim and from downtown...the Mavs are deep but with them, the whole is greater than the sum of their parts. With Miami, you just need Wade, James and Bosh all playing at a high level and there's nothing any team can do to slow down the Heat.

The panic though is not about what they can accomplish, cuz they're a dynasty in the making when they all buy in. Except I think Lebron James is having buyer's remorse and is already thinking about a refund. It's clear from his pedestrian performance yesterday that dude simply wasn't trying. How do you have only 3 buckets in 11 attempts and you're the best basketball player in the world? The glaring part of that stat is not his makes, but the fact that dude only tried to put the ball in the basket 11 times when he was the 2nd leading scorer in the league during the regular season. Those are petty from a roleplayer, let alone a superstar with his level of talent and ability. I dunno what it is, but i'd put my house on him being upset with Wade being the star of the series. It's easy to sit up on a podium and say you just care about winning no matter who's team it is, but after Wade made those repeated comments after game 3 of "I had to push my guys" and "I'm the leader of this team so I was trying to lead by example" and "I've been here before, I know what it takes to get it done", you know Lebron has a Texas-sized ego and those comments couldn't have sat well with it. If you ask me, game 4 was Lebron basically saying "aiight fuck it, let's see what you guys can do without me then...let's see D-Wade do this by himself and we'll see who needs who". How else do you explain Lebron having the fewest points ever in his playoff career, especially considering it was game 4 of the NBA Finals where he's halfway to that elusive ring, trophy and champagne shower? I think still he's gonna snap out of it in game 5 and have a Lebron game (around 30 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists) but the message he sent with his actions were louder than any he could have sent with a microphone: this is my team, and we go as I go. Point blank, period.
its gonna be like Kobe-Shaq down the line

Dallas is due for a 3 point shooting outburst... Game 5 is their last home game of the season, I can't even see them screwing this up... Dirk is also due to go for like 40... each series in these playoffs he has gone off ridiculously in one game..

the problem for Dallas is... I don't see them winning in MIA AT ALL

Worse than Kobe-Shaq...their games complemented each others, Lebron and D-Wade are basically the same player twice so it makes it more difficult for both of them to share the limelight.

I agree, Dallas is probably gonna make it rain from outside a la game 4 of the Lakers series...they won't keep missing the shots they kept making all postseason. Once that flood dries up tho, I think Miami will grab them by the throats, and it's a championship.

Youngfresh,

Honestly I don't like Lebron but on the real the media need to get off this dudes nuts for real damn. It has nothing to do with anything wrong with Lebron, it is just that Wade Has matchups plain and simple. Kidd Has absolutely zero shot on Allah's earth of guarding Wade one even 1 possession and Wade knows it. Ditto for Jason Terry too. With Lebron He has Deshawn/Marion on Him who are at least capable of making Him work a little bit. Lets be real they CANNOT have Lebron be guarded by Terry or Kidd so that leaves Wade to take advantage of that matchup. That was the whole thing with those two getting together You can't stop BOTH of them. Last series Wade was cuffed by Rose who was just as athletic and quick as Him, and Lebron had hte matchup with korver, deng etc. now its wade with the matchup. Still though I'm calling Miami winning the next two. They've really dominated the series and now I think they'll just correct their mistakes.

Murax, the thing is tho, Kidd AND Terry both covered Lebron for stretches in last night's game and he still did nothing. No attempts to attack, no posting up, no dribble penetration...waxba. To say he wasn't aggressive is an understatement, this guy was a bystander in a jersey on both sides of the court. If he wasn't playing horrible on purpose, he must be dead tired since he's logged the most minutes of the postseason for any player. You almost forget the guy is human when he's 6'8, 265 lbs and looks like he was chiseled out of stone...but it's possible even with his conditioning that 40+ minutes a night is a little too much for anybody, even a human gorilla

WSJ is nuts. The compiled all the high-fives and hugs that took place in the four games so far played in this series and and created this chart .
