You have to understand the concept of political sovereignty and nation state when discussing issues pertaining to somaliland.The SSC and awdal are of survival issue for somaliland and simply wont exist with out them.The public will no longer be happy with somaliland minus ssc and awdal.

Already took place in Awdal Waqooyi Galbeed Togdheer and the Isaaq populated regions
of Sool and Sanaag.
