Look, Kudos to him for persueing an education. To be honest I couldn't give a donkey what he does or doesnt do but Im just trying to give him a tip you know. Listen to your cousin abdi.ismail, do a degree heck even do a Masters since the job market is saturated...You can even do a degree with a language course like Arabic and political science, they have it as SOAS it's a nice package because they even give you a one-year placement abroad and most of the time that alone will find you a job in the countries you want to do the placement at.

If you're worried about being stabbed then stay on university campus, you'll be 24 with a masters, I don't see anything wrong with that. Then you can get a nice job since you have a western degree and enjoy the sun at the same time

Waraa Ibn Subeer, don't be a victim of haste like so many other people. Why would you bank on your entire future just because you couldnt wait a few years? You do realise your work life will take some 40-50 years of your future? Therefore why not better those 40-50 years by studying as much now as you can. I remember finishing sixth form 3 years ago and i finished my degree this year alxamdulilah, i met a Somali who was doing a PhD in his 30s and when i told him i finished a bachelors and am already sick of studying he actually scolded me and told me off, there are tons of people wishing to be your age and have the chance to learn something. If you're young, study everything now. You'll look back in 20 years and won't regret a single thing, trust me bro.
