^ Rape in general is under-reported and of those that are reported, it has one of the lowest conviction rates (4% here in Canada). Not being able to quote a instance doesn't mean it hasn't happen; it just means it hasn't been reported. Also, there's a lot of stigma surrounding rape. A lot of people don't admit to being victims until years later.

The clothes argument is very weak. If there was any sort of correlation between rape and how the victim was dressed, then rape would be a contemporary phenonemon in industrialized nations and relatively rare in ultra-conservative nations but it isn't. Cabaayads and jilbaabs don't stop Somali women from getting raped back home

There are many cases in North America & even in Europe where women have been raped with "Jalbaab"! Somalis just have a habit of sweeping everything under the rug instead of warning the community of such events!! Its really selfish if you really think about. They don't have to disclose the victims identity but let the crime be known by the rest of the community so others can better protect themselves! :?

The morning is equally as dangerous, but I'm sure you will blame the sun before criticizing the rapists. :Puhlease:

Guys gimme links where women in the west wearing jalbabs were raped? In somalia its different because all women dress the same. Am afraid in the west only a small amount of women cover up muslim style. So the rapist will view it as a long and laborers rape if he have to take off her jalbab. Where as the one with a t-shirt and mini skirt is am a afraid "easier" target for the rapist. If am wrong show me LINKS

A rapist just needs to get access to the genitals of his target to do his deed! He does not need to fully unclothe his victim! Its harder to remove jeans then say loose fitting under clothing which is worn under... (Jalbab)I think some of you have consensual sex confused with rape which generally is a nude act!!

so I'm on the side of the rapist? that is hasty dear..but its the prefered route of rhetoric...and I've heard this before, the jabs and the false assumptions contained within.
