Why was it to be avoided ? You come across as naive, your credibility is falling. Just claim Hawiye no problem.Grant wrote:There was a serious attempt in the 1960's to ignore tribe. Peace Corps Voulunteers were told not to discuss it. As a result, I only learned after coming to Snet. I don't even know my landlord's qabiil for sure. How were you introduced and educated about tribe?

Re: How were you introduced and educated about tribe?
You are correct to say Hawiye have very little history because most of it would have been freedom fighting or gobanimo but considering the repugnant beings 'other' 'Somalis' have become, it makes void this history.
Notice how no Hawiye cares about what a low life Darood or a low life Isaaq does with his life. Notice how a low life Darood is constantly obsessed with Hawiye no matter what he/she does even creating a myriad of autonomous regions doesn't render them free from obsession.
Notice how it is Darood who have to keep repeating how special they are as if we will come to believe they indeed are anything of worth. Nobody finds you in the slightest savoury let alone 'noble'.
Notice how it is Darood who make fake accounts on the internet to praise themselves from a Hawiye perspective because they want validation. You are beneath Hawiye and will always be since what Hawiye thinks of you is the most important thing in your lives (see: the countless threads whereby you show Darood 'history' in desperation for validity)
@Basra, try not to get a heart attack from all that hatred, it must be hard being you.

Re: How were you introduced and educated about tribe?
Why don't you stop pretending to be Hawiye first? You are testament to the vile nature of Daroods by masquerading as Hawiye only to insult them. What do you mean "never teach their children qabil" I knew my sub-sub-sub-sub clan at the age of 5 so your point is unsubstantiated. Why would we care about history is the real question? We've always been at the top hence the envy and hatred that others have for us, be in the 60s or the 90s. Support your points with evidence before you start making non-existent claims.Jam Street wrote:Hawiye parents never teach their children qabiil. Walaahi this is very true. Some will say "well, that is because Hawiye like the madhibaan are inferior in terms of history so there is nothing to teach and be proud" that could be true with some Hawiye because I have seen one or two pus$ies claiming to be Hawiye here with strong inferiority complex.

I like how you know what 'countless' Hawiye think. Thank you for obsessing with us but we don't care about your existence.STARKAST wrote:Jam Street, cool story bro. It's because countless Hawiyes are ashamed of who they are.

Re: How were you introduced and educated about tribe?
Qashinkaan bal fiiri, what the hell are you talking about? Somalia is a nomadic country, most children know their qabil through traditional upbringings, the typical conversation in which "Hawiye don't teach their children qabil" is in context to western society since they weren't necessarily threatened in the 90s. Don't blur reality with your hatred for us. I don't know what you're trying to insinuate by constantly repeating what you do but you are in position to tell me what I am.Jam Street wrote:You are most likely not Hawiye.DonCorleone wrote:I knew my sub-sub-sub-sub clan at the age of 5.

Re: How were you introduced and educated about tribe?
I get the feeling by suggesting Hawiye kids don't know clan (which is rather comical) that you are trying to insinuating they are uncultured or less Somali because you are a hatred-ridden individual. It's a rather boring narrative so change the record.
We created Somalia itself so it's kind of mundane to try and insult us by saying we're not Somali.

Even if you were born in baadiyo I still don't think it is usual for a Hawiye child to know about qabiil that young. I am not saying it is impossible because there is nothing impossible but highly unlikely. For you to claim it is normal for hawiye parents to teach their children about qabiil when they are young is none sense. Like I said, I doubt you are Hawiye.

For a moment I held the belief you were seriously psychologically damaged or had some sort of mental deficit but thank you for affirming that you are indeed not but rather a vitriolic Darood with nothing but hate to spew.Jam Street wrote:Even if you were born in baadiyo I still don't think it is usual for a Hawiye child to know about qabiil that young. I can relate to what Jam street is saying to a certain extent, People from Waqooyi, puntland, Goboloda dhexe tend to have a stronger tribal culture than people from the south, be it Banaadir,Gedo jubboyinka etc.

A low life Darood who is pretending to be Hawiye whilst insulting them will call the other person defending Hawiye non-Hawiye.
