We share NOTHING with these Jareers except melanin, yet you wanna include yourself in with them. Something is seriously wrong with you. Wallahi you are the definition of an Uncle Tom. You suck up to these Bantu people and beg for their acceptance.
1. The Afro-Asiatic language family includes the Chadic languages spoken by people with largely bantu ancestry. Hausa is one of the most widely spoken languages in West Africa and its Afro-Asiatic just like af-Somali.

2. Islam is as prevelant in West Africa as it is in the East Africa. Senegal and Gambia are both over 95% muslim. And if we're talking just raw numbers, Nigeria alone has more muslims than any other country in Africa or the Middle East not named Egypt.

3. Check my earlier post. Both Bantu and Cushitic peoples share a common E-P2 ancestry 30,000 years ago. So while we diverged from our Bantu cousins 30,000 years ago, the rest of humanity outside of Africa diverged from us 60,000 years ago. So we still have more in common GENETICALLY with the Bantu than we do with the majority of people outside africa.
4. Its tough to talk much about history since both bantu and cushitic traditions are oral. There are theories of a shared history in Egypt since there are many Bantu oral traditions about an origin in Egypt and similar traditions among cushitic peoples.
5. Its true our cultures are different. But that is mainly because most Cushites are pastoral nomads while the Bantu are largely farmers. However, there are some critical cultural similarities. The most significant being CIRCUMCISION. No matter where you go in Africa. West or East. Bantu or Cushite. Circumcision and particularly female circumcision is practiced in similar ways. This leads me to believe these practices are ancient and existed when we shared either a shared ancestry or proximity with bantu speakers.
